Today we went to the northern part of Holland. There was also a place famous for windmills called Zaanse Schans. We took off from the station Koog Zaandijk. Walking for around 20 minutes, we arrived at a pier and took a ferry there.
When we were waiting for the ferry, a man here the pier helped raised the flag to let the driver know there was someone waiting. SO funny.

There are still a number of working windmills there for pressing oil, to saw wood, to grind dyes or to make paper. Comparing to Kinderdijk, the windmills here are more colorful and appealing. And there are many small villa and houses as background, making it a very nice picture. And you can also get into the windmills for a small fee.

In fact, we dated Vivien and Natasha for the windmills. But they took the wrong train. Due to time limit, they just stayed at Amsterdam. We met them afterwards for dinner! And also go for the Red Light District.

This is my first time to go to the district. It is so interesting. In the Red Light District. there are shops for erotic toys, bars, restaurants and of course rooms for the prostitutes. They are standing at the window dancing, inducing people to get into the room.
